Free Summer Meals Program for Local Libraries this Summer

The Riverview School District is happy to share details and information regarding the "Free Summer Meals" initiative from the King County Library System, and the "Power Packs" program provided by the Snoqualmie Valley Community Network.

On Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. at the Duvall Library, beginning July 2, and Fridays at 11:30 a.m. at the Carnation Library, beginning June 28, kids ages 3 to 18 can come have lunch with their local librarian during the summer.

Additionally, the "Power Packs" program, a volunteer-driven effort to provide free supplemental food items to help address food scarcity in our community, will have power packs available over the summer at the Duvall Library on Tuesdays, beginning June 25, and the Carnation Library on Fridays, beginning June 28, during regular open hours. For the "Power Packs" program, there are no income qualifications, no paperwork, and no questions asked.

For additional information, please refer to the information below, or contact the respective libraries with any questions.
