RIVERVIEW ANNOUNCES REOPENING ADVISORY COMMITTEE

First meeting scheduled for September 24, 2020
Details on how to be considered are provided below.

September 15, 2020

Dear Riverview Community:

We are forming a Riverview School District Reopening Advisory Committee beginning Thursday, September 24, 2020. The purpose of the committee will be to advise the school district on the nuances to consider as we move through the phases of Reopening. As you know, there are many pieces to this that differ, district-to-district, such as educational programs, facilities, class size, transportation, food services, etc. We will still take our primary guidance from the Governor's Office, Washington State Department of Health, Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), and especially Public Health - Seattle & King County (PHSKC).

The committee will be comprised of staff, parents, and students and meet via Zoom. We may not use all of the meeting dates scheduled, depending on how quickly we move through the Reopening phases. We will be selecting committee members based on representation throughout the school district. To be considered for this advisory committee, please email Stacy Cook, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent, at cooks@rsd407.org, or call her at (425) 844-4504.
