April 25, 2018 - Afternoon Update (from the Riverview School District Constant Contact e-mail list)

In an update to our e-mail from earlier today, and based on e-mails received this afternoon from NWRDC and testing done at the district office, Skyward has now been restored to production and the service is now available for full use.

This is great news, in what has been a most challenging week for many of us.

Thank you to all of those in the Riverview community for your patience and understanding, and to our staff members for their ability to adapt and work within such difficult constraints for such an extended period of time.

Morning Update #2 - WSIPC Skyward Information Systems Outage
The plans to have the Skyward environment operational for district use is progressing; however, it will not be available for Wednesday. We recognize how challenging this is for your district and work is moving forward to recover the system as quickly as possible.

WSIPC is in the process of building the databases using an offsite backup environment to be used for payroll processing only. We are working with WSIPC to identify how soon your district's data will be built into the backup environment and available for your use.
