TEST-TO-STAY PROGRAM BEGINS
We are pleased to share that Riverview School District is now able to offer the "Test-to-Stay" Program. This program allows students the opportunity to test, if identified as a close contact of a known positive COVID-19 case at school. Students will enter a modified quarantine, letting the student remain in school.
This testing program is ONLY for students who have been identified as a close contact while at school, and who are not showing any symptoms of COVID-19.
Please note: Families of students who qualify for the "Test-to-Stay" program will be contacted by their school nurse.
CDC GUIDANCE INFORMATION
Recently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated quarantine guidelines. Public Health - Seattle King County and the Washington Department of Health continue to recommend that schools and childcare follow the previous guidance. Should those recommendations change, we will keep you updated.
