Full-Time, In-Person Learning for 2021-2022 School Year

Dear Riverview Community,

On Monday, May 17, Riverview School District announced its intention to return to full-time, in-person learning, five days per week for the 2021-2022 school year, and outlined possible options.

On Friday, May 21, 2021, we received updated guidance from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) which outlined available options for educational models. Based on the guidance received, Riverview will return to our pre-pandemic educational models, programs, and schedule.

These include:

  • Full-time, in-person learning on site at all schools.

  • Alternative Learning Experience (ALE) delivered through the Riverview Learning Center.

With this new guidance, a previously planned family questionnaire about enrollment will no longer be necessary.

We understand that there may be some students unable to return to full-time, in-person learning due to health and safety needs. Please contact the main office of your student’s school for information and resources related to your specific situation.

As the 2020-2021 school year ends, we would like to take this time to thank our families for their support and understanding. There has been much learning that we will be able to apply to our schools and students in the 2021-2022 school year.

We look forward to seeing you all in the fall!
