Pride Month, observed each June, holds significance as it commemorates the Stonewall Riots of June 1969. Throughout the month, various regional Pride parades and events serve as platforms to raise awareness about the history of LGBTQIA+ rights in our nation and to amplify LGBTQIA+ voices. The It Gets Better Project offers a wide range of resources for the LGBTQIA+ community, allies, and families to research, explore, and discuss.
HEALTHY CHILDREN For parents of LGBTQIA+ children, Healthy Children has developed a series of articles and FAQs that offer guidance around discussions about their child's journey of coming out and embracing their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.
