Estimated Taxes and Costs - Levy 2022

Tax Rates - 12.10.21.PNG

The Riverview School District has placed two four-year replacement levies on the upcoming February 8, 2022 ballot.

As replacement levies, these levy propositions, with voter approval, will replace expiring four-year levies approved by voters in 2018. These new levy propositions are not new taxes. Rather, they simply replace levies which are expiring and require a simple majority of voter approval (50%).

The Transportation Levy approved by voters in 2018 has expired and will not be on the ballot for replacement.

In the image above, the Educational Programs and Operations Levy (EP&O) proposed tax rates are calculated by estimating the Total Assessed Valuation for properties located within the boundaries of the Riverview School District. Tax rates are also estimated based on annual student enrollment (FTE) projections and an annual estimated Consumer Price Index (CPI) rate.

The Technology Capital Projects Levy proposed tax rate is calculated by estimating the Total Assessed Valuation for properties located within the boundaries of the Riverview School District.
